The Rimrocker Historical Society of Western Montrose County is an institution that collects, preserves and interprets artifacts and information concerning the cultural and natural history of the West End of Montrose County, Colorado. We are dedicated to our public to promote awareness, understanding, appreciation and preservation of the past and present.
The Rimrocker Historical Society would like to thank Aimee Tooker for all of her hard work putting this website together for us. She did a great job and deserves a big thanks!!!!
This is the sitting bench that was purchased by Jeanne Parkhurst, Becky Hearty and Larry Moore in memory of their parents Muriel and JP Moore. It will be placed at the Uravan ballpark along the river at a location of their choice. A plaque will be placed on the backrest of the bench. They will decide what to put on the plaque and then we will order it here for them. The historical society will be responsible for the cost of concrete and installation . The size is 8' . The back and seat are 12" wide and powder coated for durability. They come in blue, red, green, and black. We researched these for quite sometime and found this to be the best price. The cost of the bench including freight was $523.77. We have had many families interested in a bench. Please call Sharon Johannsen 970-428-7912 for more info. We can discuss this and other options that may work better for your family.
